NATA Exam : Exclusive Highlight Of The Exam

NATA Exam is the  National Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), which is a body of the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. It is a national-level undergraduate exam conducted for admission to 5 years of B.Arch. program.

 

Candidates can get admission to Government, Government -aided, Private unaided, universities, Deemed university, colleges, or institutes across India. From 2020 this exam is conducted twice a year and the candidate can appear in both the exam. The best of two scores will be accepted or considered for admission.

 

The exam is divided into two parts. Part A (Drawing) is conducted offline and Part B (MCQ) is conducted online.

The company secretary course is offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). In today’s blog, we’ll be focusing on CS Practical Training and what it has to offer, and what you can expect.

 

What is CS Practical Training?

The CS Practical Training programme is a long term internship program where you train under one of the following entities:

  • With a company having a minimum paid-up share capital of Rupees fifty lakhs
  • With a Company Secretary in Practice
  • With the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Registrar of Companies, Regional Directors, Official Liquidator, Banks, Law Firms, Consultancy Firms, Financial Institutions, LLPs, Government Bodies & Departments, PSU.

 

Note: You need to make sure that the Companies, Company Secretaries in Practice, and other organizations are registered with the Institute for imparting training.

 

Duration of CS Practical Training

Now, depending on when you start your practical training, the duration varies. The table below shows the breakdown:

Now, during the training, you will need to submit quarterly reports and project reports. Let’s look at what those are.

 

Quarterly Report and Project Report

You need to submit a project report every 3 months during the training programme. This works out to be:

  • 4 reports for the one-year training programme
  • 8 reports for the two-year training programme
  • 12 reports for the three-year training programme

 

Also, at the end of your training, you will need to submit a final project report on any subject/topic assigned by your trainer.

 

If you are eligible for exemption, fill up and submit a CS Practical Training Exemption form along with these documents

 

CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET )

CS Foundation course has been scrapped.  CSEET is the new replacement for the foundation exam.  CSEET is the mandatory qualifying test for all categories of students for registration to the CS Executive Programme except with a few exceptions.

Eligibility Criteria of CSEET

  • A candidate appearing /passed in the Senior Secondary (10+2) examinations or equivalent thereto is eligible to appear for CSEET.
  • Graduates and postgraduates in any stream from a recognized university or its equivalent are eligible to register directly to the CS Executive program, but are also required to pass the CSEET to become is eligible for registration for the Executive programme.

Exemptions:

  • Candidates who have passed CS Foundation Programme are exempted from CSEET without the payment of any exemption fees.
  • Candidates who have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and /or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempted from CSEET and shall have to pay Rs. 5000 as an exemption fee at the time of registration to CS Executive Programme.

 

CSEET Exam Pattern

The CSEET consists of Computer Based Test and Viva-Voice. CSEET is an Objective type or Multiple choice question and Viva Voice is a written and communication skill test.

CS Executive Programme 

This is the second stage of the CS. The candidate who has cleared the CSEET exam is eligible to apply for CS Executive Programme. It is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

The candidate must go through three stages of examination for becoming a Company Secretary. The Professional programme is the final stage of the Company Secretary three-year professional exam. CS Professional Programme Passing Criteria

After qualifying for the Professional Examination the candidate has to undergo 15 months of Management Training in Companies sponsored by the Institute under the guidance of a Company Secretary in Practice.

 

On clearing all the three stages of the CS program and successful completion of the training, a candidate gets the membership of ICSI to become a Company Secretary.  Candidates get admitted as an Associate Member of the ICSI and can use Associate Company Secretary (ACS) after their name.

 

CS Course Duration

  1. Foundation Programme: The Course Duration of the CS Foundation Programme is 8 Months. The Course Completion should be passed within the time limit of 3 years from the period of admission.
  2. Executive Programme: The Course Duration of the CS Executive Programme is 9 months.
  3. Professional Programme: The Course Duration of the CS Professional Programme is 10 months.

Arch College of Design and Business conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Design for admission in the undergraduate and postgraduate design programme. AIEED Exam Pattern

The AIEED is conducted in three phases namely:

AIEED Exam: GAT PATTERN

This is the first step of the selection process which all the candidates must go through. The candidate who qualifies for the GAT will be eligible for the second round of the process. This is an online test with the submission of the videos and the portfolios. They are measured on the following:

  • Design Sensibilities

CA : Exclusive Free Overview of Chartered Accountant for 2022

CA  popularly known as Chartered Accountant, is one of the respectful and challenging career fields. Chartered Accountancy was established in 1854 in Britain.

 

The ICAI Exam also known as the CA exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for the candidate willing to become Chartered Accountants in India. The exam is conducted at different levels.

 

CA: Level of Exam

 

The Chartered Accountant course consists of three levels of examinations.

  1. CA Foundation course or Common Proficiency Test (CPT)
  2. CA Intermediate Examination or Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
  3. CA Final Examination

 

Note: CA CPT is now replaced by CA Foundation Course.

 

Candidates willing to pursue a Chartered Accountant course after class 12th can do it through the CA Foundation course route. Those candidates willing to pursue Chartered Accountants after graduation can do it directly by registering in CA Intermediate or IPCC course.

 

Candidates who are not graduate but have cleared the intermediate level examination by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India can directly register for the Chartered Accountant intermediate course.

 

Foundation course is scheduled in the month of June and December while the Intermediate course is scheduled in the month of May and November.

The CA CPT or Foundation course is an entry-level course comprising of quantitative aptitude test, general economics, mercantile laws, and accounting.

The CA IPCC or the Intermediate has two groups, covering the knowledge of the core subjects. It is designed to improve the knowledge of accounting standards.

The CA Final constitutes the advanced knowledge of financial reporting, management accountant, strategic financial management, information systems control, professional ethics, and advanced auditing.

After completing the 1st group the students go through on-job training for a period of 3 years called the “Articleship” with an audit or accounts firm. Students can appear for the final course after completing the articleship.

Eligibility

CA Foundation Course (Previously called CA CPT) Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board or its equivalent.
Candidates must have registered for the CA Foundation course with the Board of Studies (Bos) before the last date of registration or converted to a Foundation course with the Board of Studies of ICAI.
CA Intermediate or IPCC (Previously called ad PCC) Candidates must have passed CA Foundation or equivalent examination.
Candidates who have registered for the previous Examination in the Professional Education course-2 or Professional Competence Course and converted into the intermediate (IPCC) or Accounting Technician Course (ATC)
Candidates who have completed graduation or post-graduation in any stream from a recognized University or its equivalent
CA Final Course Candidates who have passed Intermediate examination or Professional Education Examination -II /PCC/IPCC are eligible to apply for the Final Exam
Candidate must have completed 3 or 3.5 years or must be due to complete the article training as on the date of filling the form.
For the PCC stream students, the candidate must be serving for the last six months of the article training and due to complete 3.5 years on or before the examination
For the Intermediate IPCC students, the candidate must be serving for the last six months of the article training and due to complete 3 years on or before the examination
For students converted from PE-II to PCC as well as  students converted from PE-II to PCC and then to IPCC, the candidate must be serving for the last 12 months of article training and due to complete 3.5 years of the article on or before the examination

 

Note: After clearing the CA Final exam the candidate should go enrolment as a member of ICAI.

CA Foundation Course

This is the new entrance level examination for the Chartered Accountancy course in India. Previously it was known as Common Proficiency Test (CPT).

CA Foundation is an entry-level exam for students interested to pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy. This is a national-level exam conducted in the month of June & November.

In line with the Chartered Accountant Regulations 1988, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts and administers the CA Foundation course.  The exam is conducted twice a year.

Exemptions: CA Foundation Course is exempted for Graduates, postgraduates, and its equivalent degree. Commerce graduate with a minimum of 55% and other graduates with a minimum of 60% marks can directly take admission in CA Intermediate.

  • Candidates must have passed CA Foundation or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates who have registered for the previous Examination in the Professional Education course-2 or Professional Competence Course and converted into the intermediate (IPCC) or Accounting Technician Course (ATC)
  • Candidates who have completed graduation or post-graduation in any stream from a recognized University or its equivalent
  • Candidates appearing for the final year can also apply for the exam
  • Graduates, postgraduates, and equivalent degree holders can apply directly for Intermediate courses. Commerce graduate with a minimum of 55% and other graduates with a minimum of 60% marks can directly take admission in CA Intermediate.

 

Note: Candidate after clearing either of the one groups can commence the articleship training for 3 years under a practicing Chartered Accountant. The same candidate can only be eligible for CA Final exam after completing 2.5 years of articleship.
