AIEED Exam is an All India Entrance Examination for Design.
Arch College of Design and Business conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Design for admission in the undergraduate and postgraduate design programme. The Arch College of Design and Business is a design College in Jaipur, India. It was set up in 2000 under the management of the Arch Educational Society.
The AIEED exam consists of two entrance exams namely, the Creative Aptitude Test (CAT) and General Aptitude Test (GAT). The exam is conducted to test the aesthetic sense, creativity & design sensitivity of the student as well as the logical reasoning & problem-solving aptitude of the students.

AIEED Exam: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
- The citizen of India.
Age
- The age limit for UG Course is 16 years as the lower age and for PG Course is 21 years.
Note: Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates

AIEED Exam Pattern
The AIEED is conducted in three phases namely:
- General Aptitude Test (GAT)
- Creative Aptitude Test (CAT)
- Personal Interaction
AIEED Exam: GAT PATTERN
This is the first step of the selection process which all the candidates must go through. The candidate who qualifies for the GAT will be eligible for the second round of the process. This is an online test with the submission of the videos and the portfolios. They are measured on the following:
- Logical Reasoning
- Design related Awareness
- Awareness of Global Issues
- Design Sensibilities
- Concept Comprehension

AIEED Exam: CAT PATTERN
This is the second stage of the selection process of AIEED. This exam is eligible for the candidates who have qualified for the GAT. - Design Thinking
- Lateral Thinking & Creative Problem-Solving
- Awareness of Design Principles
- Articulation Skill (Both Written & Visual)

AIEED Exam : Personal Interaction
This is the last and final stage of the selection process of AIEED. The candidates who qualify for both the examination like GAT and CAT will reach the final round of the process. - Focus Clarity
- General articulation skills
